Development and support of financial applications designed for the fintech and banking market.

• Started as a trainee developer and worked on the main product of the company: a sizeable 20-year old monolith desktop application, with many big and demanding clients. Developed several new complex features, a lot of bug fixing, and stood out by being proactive in communicating with clients and solving their tickets.
• Two years later, moved to a younger web product, quickly gained understanding on it and took a technical lead role on the 6-person team mantaining it. Worked tightly with the team leader on strategy and planning, as well as contributing as a developer in new features, integrations, code reviews, mentoring and documentation.

Technologies used: VA Smalltalk, MSSQL Server, Git, Jenkins, Docker, RabbitMQ, Python.
